I am trying to create a link property (attribute) but am not sure how to go about doing so. Basically for every link I want an attribute field called "Assumption" that describes the reasoning why the two objects are linked. I know how to create an attribute...but how do I assign that attribute to a link?

Re: assign a attribute to a link lsand - Tue Jul 06 19:04:01 EDT 2010 open the link module, then : Edit / Attributs then, on any object (of source or target module), you can do : properties / Links, select the link, Details, select the attribut, edit the attributs. Pierre |

Re: assign a attribute to a link Yes, create it in the open-edited link module. However, its values are stored in the Link which is stored in the source module, so in order to modify the link value you must have modify access to the source object (open edit or lock the section), then do something like this in DXL: lnk."Assumption" = get(dbeAssumptionPromptedFromUser)
